John Celentano

President - CoFounder

At SQUAN we are only as good as our last job. We take our commitment to quality very seriously

SQUAN Co-Founder, John Celentano has over 18 years of leadership in both telecomm and construction. Mr. Celentano started in telecom at Skyfield Communications. Later with BCI he served in both the wireless and wireline business, ultimately leading the costing and project management functions for the greater NY/NJ markets.

What differentiated Mr. Celentano was not just his telecom experience, but his ability to develop and mentor others in business development and project delivery. Based on these capabilities and his natural entrepreneurial skills, he joined Kevin Frerich to co-found SQUAN in 2008.

The combination of John’s program, leadership, and analytical skill coupled with Kevin’s financial acumen and strong site acquisition background were a perfect match. This enabled them to hire and develop talent which has seen SQUAN grow from a small local player to a super-regional business. As a result the company is routinely asked to bid on and win work nationally.

Today Mr. Celentano serves as SQUAN’s president, leading all day to day operations. His market knowledge, technical background, and vision are all critical success factors for SQUAN.
