Duane Albro has extensive experience at the CEO level in the telecommunications industry including positions in both publicly-traded and privately held companies at the ninth largest cloud communications provider in the U.S.; a metro-NY cable operator; a northeast U.S.-based telecommunications service provider; a cellular phone refurbishing business; and at predecessor companies to Verizon. Prior to assuming the CEO position, he served on the Board of Directors of Squan and continues to hold a board seat.

Duane has extensive merger and acquisition experience with special expertise in the integration of acquired companies. He has been a key player in the merger and integration of mid-cap companies as well as mega-mergers of Fortune 50 companies. He also has a critical talent for improving management professionalism and efficiencies by building high performance.

Prior to SQUAN, John served as Chief Financial Officer for Cartesian, Inc., a specialist consulting firm focused on the global telecommunications, media and technology industries. Before joining Cartesian, he served as the CFO for The Street, Inc., a company founded by Jim Cramer of CNBC’s Mad Money. John’s domestic and international experience in the communications sector spans all aspects of finance, operations and M&A. His experience in building companies through organic and acquisition-based strategies, adds revitalized focus on SQUAN’s expansion into new network technology solutions.

John holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University.

Keith Pennachio is an 18-year veteran of the telecommunications industry. With a focus on wireless communications, he began his career on the operator side of the business with Omnipoint in 1997 (now T-Mobile) and transitioned shortly thereafter to the consulting side where he has held senior executive roles in operations, sales and strategy for WFI between 2000 and 2010, where he played an instrumental role in growing the organization to nearly 3,500 employees globally. As a recognized Industry expert in wireless network development, Keith’s experience spans the ecosystem of wireless network planning and development. He has frequently played the role of consultant and trusted partner for services companies, tower infrastructure owner/builders, original equipment manufacturers and the investment community. In 2010, Keith joined Compass Technology Services, Inc. as a Partner where he played a key role in the diversification of services and broadening of client relationships, which led to the sale of the company to Jacobs Engineering in 2013.

Through Nicks experience in the industry, he has proven to be a trusted and collaborative member of teams he has joined throughout his time in Telecommunications.

Nick White started his career in the telecommunications industry in 1999. As a Construction Project Manager with Nextel Communications, he gained much experience working Site Development in the Northeast. Excelling in site design, working closely with Engineering and Legal teams to achieve jurisdictional approvals has been a staple of Nicks success. The knowledge and experience he gained in the ever-changing landscape of telecommunications afforded him consulting roles with Major Telecom Partners. Nick continued as a consultant for many projects with General Dynamics, Ericsson, and T-Mobile. He worked with Northrop Grumman between 2007 and 2011 Designing and Building a Public Safety Network for the City of New York. It was in 2013 that Nick joined the Senior Management team at Squan, playing a key role in the success of decommissioning 5,000 Sprint/Nextel Sites in the Northeast. The opportunity with Squan has seen Nick continue to develop many of his long-standing business relationships and experience to support Squan in a Business Development role from 2013 to 2016.

Ken joined the SQUAN team in July of 2017, through the acquisition of his company CSI by SQUAN. As the new President of Fiber Construction, Ken is leading the continued metamorphosis of SQUAN’s services offering. Founded in 1995, CSI is a recognized brand with Ken leading the organization from its origins as small key player to a rapidly growing extension of SQUAN’s fiber business.

Having begun his career in 1977, Ken worked his way up as a lineman and later joined the management team of AM Communications. He joined Can Am construction in the mid-80s as the VP of Construction and ran several large scale, high-profile programs across the United States. With experience on the operator side of the business and as a consultant vendor contractor, his depth of experience was more deeply forged on several high-profile projects in and around the New York City market. Ken gradually expanded his business to cover much of the Northeast region.

Ken’s experience with Altice (Cablevision), Charter, Lightower and other key clients is a welcome addition to SQUAN’s growing list of marquee clients.

Prior to joining Squan, Don Henry served as Director of Dispatch Operations in Sherburne, NY, responsible for the daily dispatching of field technicians in both NY and PA, as well as after-hours repair and emergency dispatching for CT – all as part of the East Region of Frontier

Don transitioned to Frontier during their acquisition of Verizon Communications (formerly Bell Atlantic and NYNEX/New York Telephone) where he served as the Director of Operations for Upstate East Installation/Maintenance and Construction, overseeing an organization of approximately 850 personnel. He had also served as the Director of Engineering and Construction for the eight counties of Western NY, based in Buffalo. Before joining New York Telephone, Don was a combat arms officer in the Regular Army, assigned in Germany and in the southwestern region of the United States. During this time period, he attained the rank of Captain, serving as the commanding officer of two separate organizations and as a primary general staff officer for the commanding general (two-star) of an active-Army combat division.

Don has a B.S. degree in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and an M.B.A. from the Simon Business School, University of Rochester.
